Seniors Austin Pelotte and Gage Marshall guided the Harvard Cardinals to a two game split this past week as Harvard, in a pair of home games, fell early last week to McCool Junction 52-44 before bouncing back into the win column Friday with a Twin Valley Conference win over Silver Lake, winning the TVC battle 55-42 to improve the Cards to 5-7 on the year.
The two combined for 31 of Harvards 44 points in the eight-point loss to McCool Junction as Marshall hit for 16, while Pelotte added 15.
Pelotte would lead in rebounds with 14, while Marshall and Sal Ledesma both had four.
Pelotte would back up his 15 point, 14 rebound night against McCool Junction with another huge night Friday in the Cardinals’ 13 point win over Silver Lake as the senior poured in a game high 18 points and 18 rebounds to lead Harvard to their fifth win of the season.
Marshall added 15 points, while Riley Gallagher added eight and Colton Ives seven more.
