Kris is happy to see his Patriots back in the Super Bowl with a chance to avenge their '07/'08 loss to the Giants. I know Nebraska doesn't much care for pro football, but humor him with this :)
Tonight is the Sutton Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet. A social hour will begin at 6 p.m. at the Senior/Community Center. A prime rib dinner will then be held at 7 p.m., followed by the Chamber's business, including outgoing president A.J. Bergen handing the gavel to incoming president Tory Duncan, and the presentation of two special awards. A comedian, Don Reese, will follow, around 8 p.m.
Otherwise today was spent wrapping up stories like speech results from Sutton and Sandy Creek; checking in on other sessions featured at last Tuesday's Beef Seminar at the USMARC; talking to members of the Fairfield Community Club about changing officers and the volunteers of the year; and more.
Reminder that tomorrow evening is Clay Center's chili cook-off, which will be held by the community club at 6 p.m. Additionally, the Harvard council will hold its second monthly meeting tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
