Todd’s Feed starter, Hannah Rogers, didn’t need much run-support on the hill as she showed in Sunday’s championship final at the Dinsdale tournament against Flames of Nebraska.
Six strong innings by Rogers spurred Todd’s Feed to a 2-1 victory over Flames of Nebraska in six innings for the title as Todd’s Feed improved to 6-1 on the year.
Todd’s Feed was led by Mau’s hitting. She went 2-3, drove in one run and scored another. Mau doubled in the first inning and singled in the second inning.
Flames of Nebraska’s lone run of the ballgame came in the first inning on a ground out by Sydney Omtveb.
Todd’s Feed answered Flames of Nebraska’s top inning with one run of its own in the first as Todd’s Feed scored on an RBI double by Baker.
The game’s last lead went to Todd’s Feed thanks to a second inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI single by Mau.
