Holiday Tournament action for the Harvard Cardinals proved to be a big step forward as the Cardinals, who came in sporting a 2-5 record, opened play at the Kenesaw tournament with a huge 50-42 win over Lawrence-Nelson, behind a huge 23-15 run in fourth quarter play to comeback for the win.
In the title match with the host Blue Devils, Harvard would hang tough with Kenesaw.
In the end, however, the host Blue Devils would record a 62-44 win as Harvard would prepare for play in the 2011 portion of their season with a 3-6 record.
Harvard would open their battle with Lawrence-Nelson with a 14-8 first quarter run.
