Tell you what, readers. This was easily the best weekend I’ve had in a long time.
Adventures en route to picking up a delayed and plan-changed brother Keegan from the airport; a successful golf round with him in tow; birthday Friday complete with being dunked, duck diving, carnival rides and good company; more Dugout Days events and a tour of the greater Clay County area with Keegan on Saturday; and one final day before dropping him off at the airport on Sunday.
Honestly, though, everything was kind of a blur the whole time. With so much going on and having my brother in town, I was operating on system overload. Not in a bad way, at all, but it just seemed like everything went so fast. Things have a way of doing that sometimes, though.
I will report to everyone, too, that Keegan had a great time out here. On behalf of him and myself, thanks to everyone for showing him a good time. I know he appreciated it and it was great to be able to show him why I’ve been out here for two-and-a-half years.
