Following a long holiday season break the South Central Red Raiders returned to the mats last Friday, taking on the seven team field at the Tri County Duals tournament to begin the 2012 portion of their season.

It didn’t take the Lady Cougars to establish their dominance Tuesday, Jan. 3 as Sandy Creek used an 11-1 first quarter run and a high powered 25-11 run in the second quarter to build a 36-12 halftime lead that eventually led to a 57-29 win to send class C-1’s ninth ranked Lady Cougars to 7-1 on the year.
