The Harvard girls basketball team improved to 3-6 during action last week at the Wilcox-Hildreth Holiday Tournament held in Wilcox Dec. 29 and 30.
The Harvard Cardinals bounced back from a first round 56-34 loss at the hands of the Kenesaw Blue Devils to claim third place honors in the Wilcox-Hildreth Holiday Tournament, held Thursday and Friday, Dec. 29 and 30 in Wilcox.

Contrasting games for a second straight week would leave the Harvard girls basketball teams looking for answers after a 51-31 loss at Dorchester Dec. 13, but a quick rebound would guide the Lady Cardinals to their second win in seven games as a 32 point performance by senior Alison Engle against Heartland Lutheran would lead Harvard to a 53-41 win over the Red Hornets Saturday night.
