For the second straight year, the Sutton Mustangs ran the tables during action in the Sportsman’s Holiday Tournament, hosted by Freeman High School in Adams.
Holiday tournament action for the Sandy Creek Cougars earned the team two wins, but just one of the two wins will count on the win-loss stats and in the Nebraska School Activities Association powerpoint standings as the Cougars’ 50-47 championship win over the Seward Junior Varsity will not benefit the Cougars record, or point standings this season.
