The Sandy Creek golf team claimed a sixthplace team finish during their own 18-hole tournament played in Clay Center on the Crooked Creek Country Club course.

The Cougars totaled a 368 to finish right behind Fillmore Central’s 365. The tournament title came down to a playoff for both the team title and individual title, as Exeter-Milligan/Friend held off Sutton for the tournament title, as both teams finished with scores of 321, with the Mustangs finishing second behind EMF following the playoff.

Leading the Cougar five was senior Connor Rempe, as he claimed seventh place overall with a 79, shooting scores of 37 on the front nine and 42 on the back nine.

Keaton Corman followed Rempe, gaining an eight-place finish with an 80, opening up play with a 42 on the front nine before shaving off four strokes on the back nine to shoot a 38.

Evan Swartzendruber carded a 93 with scores of 48 on the front and 45 on the back. John Skalka had scores of 57 and 59 to finish with a 116, while Jaxen Heath finished the day with a 120, shooting scores of 57 on the front and 63 on the back.
