During the final Central Nebraska Trapshooting Conference shoot of the 2025 season, two senior division shooters for Sutton and a pair of junior division shooters earned All-CNTC honors for the Sutton Trap team.
Gavin VanderLey was the overall second selection for the senior boys behind Gibbon’s Wyatt Debrie on the first team, while Aniston Jasnoch was a first team selection for the senior division girls, as the fourth overall pick.
Davin Higby and Jesse Mohnike were third team selections for the junior division boys for Sutton, while Higby was also named the top overall raffle sales contest winner, with Leah Cool earning a conference scholarship for the year.
During the final shoot of the season Saturday, April 26, Jasnoch and Elsa Andersen were the overall ladies’ champions in the final conference shoot, hitting on 166 of their 200 total targets.
VanderLey finished in a four-way tie for top honors from the 22-23-yard handicap mark, hitting on 45 of 50 targets. He was tied with Makin Girmus of Fillmore Central, Deacon Erdkamp of EMF, and Dylan Ronnau of the Crooked Creek trap team.
Leah Cool finished as the ladies’ overall runner-up during the final shoot of the season, hitting on 86 of her 100 targets, finishing behind Gibbon’s Brooke Sell, who was 90-100.
VanderLey was the senior division top shooter for Sutton, connecting on 91 of 100 shots, as he was 46-50 from 16 yards, and 45-50 from his 2223-yard handicap spot.
Cord Pope followed, as he was 88-100, while Cameron Wilson was 87-100.
For the girls, Cool paced the ladies, hitting on 86 of 100 shots, Elsa Andersen followed, as she was 85-100, while Jasnoch was 81-100.
Jesse Mohnike paced the Sutton juniors, as he was 46-50.
