Three Clay County football players will take part in the 48th annual Sertoma Nebraska 8-Man all-star game, played at Hastings College on Saturday, June 21. Kickoff for the game is set for 6 p.m. on Lloyd Wilson Field on the campus of Hastings College.
Sandy Creek, the defending Class D-1 state champions will have Ethan Shaw, who will also play in the 67th Annual Shrine Bowl, to be played June 7, beginning at 4 p.m. at the University of Kearney campus on the Ron and Carol Cope Stadium Foster Field, and Hudson Devlin will represent the Cougars in the game, while Sutton’s Gabe Gwennap will take part in the game to represent the Mustangs in the game.
