Critter Care celebrates 30 years

Critter Care celebrates 30 years

Dr. Susan Rohrer of Clay Center Critter Care, a general practice veterinary clinic, has been providing primarily small animal care to Clay Center and surrounding areas for three decades.

In May of 1995, in a small 500 ft square building, Critter Care officially opened their doors for business. This was the clinic’s home for 14 years.

In May of 2009, the clinic moved to a 2,500 square foot renovated house, just north of the original building. The move allowed the staff more space to care for their clients.

Dr. Rohrer and her staff provide humane society work with periodic spay/neuter clinics, stray animal placement aid, and annual vaccine clinics for the area.

Some of the services provided are as follows: basic animal health care, vaccinations, spays, neuters, dental, x-rays, preventative care, and much more.

Critter Care kicked off their 30th Anniversary Celebration by offering a walk-in rabies vaccination clinic with extended hours. The discounted rabies vaccinations were available May 5-8.

The Critter Care staff administered more than 145 vaccinations during the extended hour clinic.

There is still another celebration opportunity for getting vaccines during the rest of May.

There will be vaccinations available without an exam fee. Please call Clay Center Critter Care to schedule an appointment at 402-762-3776 or request an appointment at http://petportal.vet/crittercare.
