Harvard Public School received $20,000 for scholarship and sponsorship funding by the Gene Haas Foundation.
This funding can be used for tuition to a CNC machining program at a community college, trade/ technical school or articulated/ dual enrollment classes while a student is in high school.
Additionally, funds can be used for Gene Haas Tooling awards, which provides scholarships for students in the form of tools used in the program. Tools received are the students’ to keep after graduation.
Students participating in a CNC-based SkillsUSA competition can also benefit from a portion of the funds.
