Sandy Creek’s TeamMates Chapter was selected as the Southern Regional Chapter of the Year. SC’s chapter was recently recognized for this achievement at an awards dinner July 9.
They were recognized for their efforts during the 2024-25 school year, including:
• Mentor recruitment.
• Making new matches, growing from 36 to 50 matches in one year.
• Engaging their communities with SC’s restaurant day and 25th Anniversary celebration.
• Building brand awareness.
• Embracing innovation with fun group activities.
• Upholding the TeamMates Mission.
The TeamMates program noted, “Your commitment has not gone unnoticed, and we can’t wait to celebrate your incredible accomplishments.”
In response to the award, Sandy Creek TeamMates President Brenda Searle said, “We are honored to be recognized, and we are so proud of each of our matches, and for our amazing program. It is definitely a work of heart!”
