Sutton shuts out Hebron July 20

After a loss at the hands of Holdrege, the Sutton Seniors headed to Hebron with winning in mind. Behind powerful pitching efforts by Payton Reed, the seniors won 9-0, July 20.

Reed’s time on the mound saw him allow one hit, no runs, two walks, and striking out 12.

Going to bat 23 times, Sutton opened the game with one run, followed by three in the second and three in the third innings.

Two more runs, one in the top of the fourth and the final one in the top of the fifth, all but ended the game, leaving Hebron scoreless and Sutton at 22-13 on the season.

Runs for Sutton came via Caleb Reiners, Cash Parrish, Wyatt Pollet, DJ Hajny, Weston Ohrt, Carson Mau, and Aidan Jones.
