Sutton’s Legion baseball field named after Mike Thompson Saturday
In a special ceremony at DLD Park Saturday, Aug. 2, Sutton’s Legion baseball field was renamed “Mike Thompson Memorial Field,” after the late Mike Thompson. At the left, Thompson’s son, Steve, throws the ceremonial first pitch, which was a blazing strike.
