The Sutton Fillies opened the 2025 girls golf season at Central City for scramble action against a field of 10 total teams, with three teams for the Fillies hitting the course for the first time this season.
The team of Mia Ochsner, Shepleigh Ohrt, and Isabella Trejo combined to card an 18-hole 72 to place fifth overall in Division I of the tournament, as the Fillies trio opened play with a 37 on the front nine, and wrapped up the day with a 35 on the back.
In Division II of the scramble format tournament, Laurel Moore, Jentry Stenger, and Addision George shot an 81 to place second overall, as the Sutton group carded scores of 40 and 41 during the two nine-hole rounds.
In the final division, which consisted of one nine-hole round, the team of Brook Ward, Breckyn Peterson, and Aniston Jasnoch finished fifth in the third division with a score of 42.
