Sandy Creek and Sutton School Boards were recognized and honored during the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) meeting in York Aug. 26.
The Sutton School Board, consisting of Teryl Andersen, Jarrod Aspegren, Jolene Griess, Jim Jones, Brent Mau, and Jerry Overturf were recognized for “their commitment to achieving excellence in board leadership through continuing education.”
Sandy Creek Board Members Ryan Petr, Sara Hemberger, Brian Shaw, and Laurie Kohmetscher also received honors.
Hemberger, Level II, Petr reached Level III, Shaw, Level V, and Kohmetscher, Level V. Reaching different levels recognizes board member’s commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
