Aurora Cooperative Elevator Company, a Nebraska cooperative corporation (“Aurora Cooperative”) is pleased to announce the completion of its merger with Farmers Union Co-Operative Association of Kearney, NE (“Farmers Union”). Effective Sept. 2, 2025, this strategic merger unites two longstanding farmer-owned cooperatives, poised to create enhanced value and expanded service offerings for their members in the Kearney area.
The merger underscores Aurora Cooperative’s commitment to strengthening its position in the agricultural sector, ensuring the continuous delivery of top-quality products, services, and expertise. By combining resources, expertise, and market reach, the merged entity will offer broader access to innovative solutions in seed, fertilizer, crop protection, animal nutrition, energy products, and grain operations.
