The high school girls golf season is quickly coming to a close, as teams across the state of Nebraska will enter into district competition on either Monday, Oct. 6, or Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Sutton and Sandy Creek will head to southeast Lincoln Monday, Oct. 6 for the C-1 district meet.
The 18-hole tournament, hosted by Lincoln Christian, will be played at the Hidden Valley Golf Course, located at 10501 Pine Lake Road. Teams entered are as follows: Ashland- Greenwood, Auburn, BDS, EMF, Elmwood-Murdock, Fairbury, H&H, Humboldt- Table Rock-Steinauer, Johnson County Central, Lincoln Christian, Lincoln Lutheran, Palmyra, Sandy Creek, Superior, Sutton, Syracuse, and Tri County.
The top three teams in the district meet, and the first ten individual places plus ties in each district will qualify for the NSAA Championship meet in North Platte Monday, Oct. 13, and Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Playoffs will be used in case of ties for the NSAA Championship ‘TEAM’ qualifying spots.
