Mike Schroetlin and Joyce Brown picked their way through the week-11 Clay County News Pigskin Picks football contest without a miss bringing the final decision down to the tie-breaker game between Nebraska and UCLA.
The Cornhuskers held off the Bruins 28-21 to combine for 49 total points.
Schroetlin missed the tie-breaker by just four points, predicting that 45 points would be scored, while Brown missed by 24, guessing that 73 points would be tallied.
Two entries, submitted by Linda Hansen and Gail “Oz” Griess missed one game.
This week’s contest will be the final challenge of the 2025 season.
