Just as the annual lighted parade began during Clay Center’s Christmas Around the Square, it began to snow. Kids nearby excitedly announced it was snowing, and some said it felt like a Christmas miracle. The sudden snow added that extra holiday spirit to the parade as decorated floats moved their way around the courthouse Dec. 7.
