Sandy Creek’s girls kept their perfect season alive and well during week two of the 2025-26 season, gaining a 45-36 road win over Centennial, before having to hold off Tri County at home, in overtime, 53-41, to stand at 4-0 after week two.
The Cougars trip to Centennial Thursday, Dec. 11, earned the Cougars a 7-6 first quarter lead and an 18-15 halftime lead before Sandy Creek outscored the Broncos 27-21 in the second half to secure the nine-point road win.
The Cougars were 15-56 from the floor (26.8%) and hit on 11 of 20 foul shots (55%).
Madison Shaw drained 18 points to lead the Cougar offense, while Emma Fisher added 10.
Paige Biltoft dropped in nine points with Caitlyn Biltoft and Morgan Petr scoring three each, and Carrigan Rempe, two.
Rebounding leaders in the win were Rempe with seven, Fisher and Shaw with five each, and Caitlyn Biltoft with three.
Rempe dished out four assists, while Petr and Rempe both gained five steals.

Saturday afternoon’s overtime clash with Tri County gave Sandy Creek a 25-20 halftime lead, but a 21-16 second-half run by the Trojans forced overtime, where the Cougars took care of business, outscoring Tri County 12-0 to secure a 53-41 victory.
Sandy Creek was 22-61 overall from the floor (36.1%) and hit on five of 10 foul shots (50%).
Fisher and Shaw both drained 17 points to lead the cause, while Rempe added 11, Paige Biltoft, six, and Petr, two.
Fisher claimed a doubledouble in the win with 11 rebounds to go with her 17 points, while Rempe gained nine boards, and Petr, six.
Paige Biltoft had a team-high six assists, with Shaw gaining five, and Fisher, four.
Shaw also had four steals, with Rempe gaining three.
