Waypoint Bank directors donate $1,000 to Clay County nonprofits

Waypoint Bank directors donate $1,000 to Clay County nonprofits

The Clay Center branch was awarded $1,000 to distribute, and it selected The Clay County Food Pantry, The Clay County Giving Tree, and The Sandy Creek Beef Boosters as recipients of donation checks.

“Each of these three organizations provides so much for our communities and school district during the holidays, and with rising costs, they have experienced a shortage of funds to reach their goals,” Jessie Anderson, Waypoint Bank – Clay Center Branch President, explained. “I love that Waypoint Bank Directors were willing to help these organizations out this time of year so that area families in our communities could still receive the important services they provide.” Employees at Waypoint Bank – Clay Center branch have previously helped with the Giving Tree’s annual wrapping and delivery of presents, and they plan to help again this year. “It’s really meaningful to work for a bank that invests in the people and an organization that make our communities stronger,” Anderson said. “I’m very proud to work for a bank that believes in giving back.”

We encourage you all to celebrate this season of giving.
