The Deweese Community Club’s second annual Coon Calling Contest had 41 teams enter, with three of them youth age. At the end of the contest, 594 coons were counted. Earning first place was the Backyard Bandits, far left, with 70 coons, earning $1,700. Second place went to 42 Krue, center, with 65 coons, earning $1,000. Third place was the Trash Pandas with 54 coons, earning $500. More photos and winning teams can be found on pg. 3.
