Rainwater Basin Pheasants Forever banquet set for Saturday in Sutton

The Rainwater Basin Chapter of Pheasants Forever 36th Annual Banquet is set for Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Sutton Community Center.

Social hour is 5:30-7 p.m., with the meal set to be served at 7 p.m.; meal tickets are $15.

There will also be numerous framed prints raffled off and sold on both auctions.

Additionally, there will be trips offered, including the Kentucky Bourbon Experience, and a trip to the Driftwood Lodge on Lake Kabetogama in Minnesota.

Friesen Auto will have a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that will be auctioned off prior to the second break in the live auction.

New on the live auction this year will be an Arctic Cat Alterra 90 youth ATV, provided by Ty Yost with Sutton Irrigation, which will be auctioned off as the 11th item, just before the first break in the auction.

Additional auction items include: two mystery gun safes, which will begin the live auction Saturday night.

Guns that will be on the live auction include: a Ruger American 6mm Creedmore rifle, a Tristar Infinity over and under 20-gauge shotgun, a Ruger Mark IV 22 caliber pistol, a Smith and Wesson 32-caliber pistol, a Henry 22-caliber octagon barrel gun, a Kimber American 38-caliber revolver, a Diamondback AR with 5.56 & 300 blackout uppers, a HK 416 22 LR Pistol and a Christensen Arms Evoke Hunter 7 mm PRC.

Also on the live auction is a Husker basketball print with an image of the first Husker basketball game at Pinnacle Bank Arena, a pair of “Gentleman Pheasant” prints, dinner for six at the Lazy Horse Brewery near Ohiowa, a lifetime hunting permit and a lifetime fishing permit, Bird Dog whiskey, and a “glamping trip” to the Spring Ranch Campground in southwest Clay County near Fairfield.
