Kobza medals in both hurdle events at H&H Invite in Henderson
Sophomore Brextyn Kobza earned 14 of the Harvard boys track teams 14.5 points during action at the H&H Invitational in Henderson, Tuesday, April 14.
Kobza’s scoring came out of the two hurdle events, as the sophomore was second in the 110-meter event, and third in the 300-meter hurdles.
Kobza finished the flight of 110-meter hurdles in 18.37 seconds to finish runner-up behind Nevada Gloystein, who claimed gold with a time of 17.06 seconds.
Gloystein also won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.15 seconds. Finishing just ahead of Kobza in the race was Caleb Hesman of Blue Hill with his time of 44.31 seconds, while Kobza was third with a time of 44.76 seconds.
Pedro Perez earned a half-point in the pole vault, finishing in a two-way tie for sixth place with Gloystein of H&H with vaults of 10’ 2’.
