Sutton’s Senior Legion baseball team used seven hits to launch them to a 17-2 dominating victory over SOS Tuesday, May 26, powered by a huge game at the plate for Aidan Banta.
Banta drove in five runs with a pair of singles during his three at bats to drive the Sutton offense.
Sutton scored six runs in the first, two in the second, three more in the third, and sealed the win with six runs in the fourth and final inning of the game.
Weston Ohrt, River Glinsmann, Cale Nuss, Brody Borgmann, and DJ Hajny all recorded one single in the win.
Ohrt earned the win on the mound for Sutton, striking out nine, walking five, while allowing two runs on just four hits.
