The challenge of Nebraska’s spring and summer weather is that sometimes more than rain falls from the sky. This photo, taken two miles west of Clay Center along Road 313, shows the aftermath of Saturday night’s storm, which dumped nearly 5 inches of rain in the area while also bringing hail and damaging winds.
