Sandy Creek coaches, former coaches and admins honored at NCA banquet
Current Sandy Creek coaches, former coaches and former administrators were honored on Sunday, July 19, during the 58th annual Nebraska Coaches Association’s awards banquet, held at the Old Lincoln Train Station in the Historic Haymarket District in Downtown Lincoln. Pictured from the left is current Sandy Creek Athletic Director, Matt Swartzendruber and president of the NCA board of directors. Former coach, Warren Washburn, received the Skip Palring Career Football Coaching Award. Former athletic director and Sandy Creek coach, Russ Ninemire, was honored with the 50-year Coaching Milestone Award. Andrew Kuta, was honored for the second year in a row as the Class D-1 state championship head coach. Former athletic director, Jim Eberly, was also honored with the 50-year Coaching Milestone Award.
