Sutton’s girls golf team took home top team honors in quadrangular action at Clay Center’s Crooked Creek Golf Course Tuesday, Sept. 8, beating second place Sandy Creek by 55 strokes during the nine-hole round of action.
Sutton finished play with a 175, while the Cougars finished wth a 230. Rounding out the action was H&H with a 252, while Fullerton finished with a 253.
Sutton was led by Shepleigh Ohrt and Molly McCroden, who each shot a 43, Isabella Trejo completed the round with a 44, while Aniston Jasnoch wrapped up play with a 45 and Breckyn Peterson carded a 55. Sutton’s lone junior varsity player, Quinn Robinson was the lone Sutton junior varsity player, wrapped up her day with a 58.
On the Cougars side, Lydia Pearce shot a 48 to lead Sandy Creek. Karsyn Luckey carded a 57, with Kinsli Bolte shooting a 62, and Jocelyn MacCann wrapping up her round with a 63.
