In a meet that always features a large group of runners, Sandy Creek’s Neviah McBride represented the Cougar program at the annual Fillmore Central cross country meet at Hidden Hills Country Club in northwest Geneva Thursday, Sept. 17.
McBride finished just inside the top 20 of the girls 5,000-meter race, placing 19th in a field of 85 total runners.
McBride finished the race with a time of 21:44.73 just over four seconds faster than the 20th place medalist, Stella Morrissey of Tri County.
