Sandy Creek runs record to 6-1 and piles up 394 total yards in win
Following their huge 84-18 win over the Amherst Broncos, the Sandy Creek Cougars gained their fifth straight win of the 2026 season with a 50-6 win over the Centura Centurions to run the Cougars’ season record to 6-1, while climbing the playoff points ladder to the number three spot after seven weeks of play.
Centura and Sandy Creek both came into the game with identical 5-1 records, proving the Centurions were a team to be reckoned with during week seven of the season, but Sandy Creek had a different plan: to take full charge of the game and hand Centura its second loss of the season.
