LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Dear Editor, Are you registered to vote this fall? Do you know what the candidates’ positions are or the content of the initiatives? Now is the time to get ready for the November 3 election.

How do you get reliable information about the candidates or the initiates? Are the TV ads or other advertising the truth? I have a better idea. To get a nonpartisan voter guide, go to nebraskafamilyalliance.

org or call 888777-5188. This organization’s

goal is to advance family, freedom and life. If these are also your goals, check out their voter guide.

In this guide you’ll find each candidate’s party affiliation, campaign website, and positions—all in one place.

You may need to know the district we are in for some of the positions. We are in US Congressional District --#3, Board of Regents-- #6, State Board of Education-- #5, Public Service Commission--#4, and Supreme Court--#5.

This year’s ballot will also include three statewide initiatives that could significantly impact families in Nebraska. With the help of this guide, you can better navigate the election process, understand the issues, and make informed decisions.

Good luck in voting for local, state, and national issues and candidates. God bless America!

Pamela Stahl
