This group of Sutton men have combined to serve as the Sutton chain gang for what they think is an estimated 65 years or more working together on the sidelines during Sutton football games. The crew may have worked their final game during Sutton’s 82-26 win over Centennial, that is, unless the Mustangs earn a home playoff game after the regular season ends. Pictured, from the left is: Barry Sheridan, Monte Lemkau, Gail “Oz” Griess, and Reggie Simonsen. Though they weren’t 100 percent certain, Griess has worked the sideline for over 30 years, while Sheridan, Lemkau and Simonsen have been a part of the group since the early 2010s.
