The Harvard football team battled through a tough gridiron season, finishing the year 0-8 and having to deal with multiple injuries that led to the winless season. Not to mention, of the eight teams they faced, all but Franklin and Nebraska Lutheran would qualify for the post season, making the season an uphill battle for the Cardinals. BDS, the Cardinals’ first opponent of the season, remains alive in the post-season, reaching the State Finals of Class D-1 after a Monday night win over Guardian Angels CC. The Eagles would blank Harvard 66-0 in the season opener. Shelton gained a 52-14 win during week two, while a trip to Franklin in the third week of the season gave the Flyers a 46-26 win over the Cards.
