An Education Committee hearing this past Wednesday was to consider the use of lottery funds for education, the last in a series of hearings at which Nebraskans have drawn similar conclusions as to how they would like to see that money be used in schools. The Nebraska Legislature’s Education Committee held three public hearings throughout Nebraska referred to as the “Vision for Education in Nebraska.” The hearings took place in October in Omaha, Norfolk and Grand Island.
