It’s Parade of Lights time in Sutton, as the annual holiday event returns to the community this Monday night. As always, the main feature is the lighted parade, which is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Line-up for the parade is at the Sutton Public School parking lot at 6 p.m. Contact Pam Schroetlin, Chamber representive, to enter your lighted float by calling 402-773- 4233. Those interested in participating in the parade, may also sign up at the school beginning at 6 p.m. the night of the celebration. Many businesses on main street will open their doors during the evening’s events for activities, snacks, refreshments or to visit. Returning for the third year is the Sutton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Shopping Spree, which will grant two people the opportunity to rack up a grocery
bill at Brown’s Thrift Store during a two-minute spree and a one-minute spree.
