Sutton businessman Todd Mau, owner of Todd’s Feed and Trailer Sales, officially became the new mayor for the City of Sutton during the Sutton City Council’s monthly meeting held Dec. 9. Mau replaces longtime mayor Bob Hale, who chose not to run for a third term in office this past election year. Hale handed over the gavel to Mau, a write-in winner in the November General Election. Additionally, city attorney Don Bottorf, City Clerk/Treasurer Sherrie Bartell and two council members, Jon Pedersen and Jeff Schelkopf, were also approved for appointment to their respective posts. Sutton Police Chief Tracey Landenberger was unavailable for the meeting, but was approved to retain his position with the Sutton department.
