Sutton’s ambulances will soon be getting some potentially life-saving upgrades. During the Dec. 9 Sutton City Council meeting, Clay County Emergency Manager Loren Uden notified council members that a $25,000 grant from theAmerican Heart Association’s  Midwest Affiliate had been awarded to the Sutton EMT department. These funds will be used towards the purchase of a new AED/Defibrillation unit to be used on Sutton’s newest ambulance, replacing older defibrillator systems.
