Grafton, NE resident Robert Paul Waltrip, 56, passed away Jan. 24, 2015, in Brawley, CA. Rosary will be 7 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Heritage Crossings Chapel in Geneva, NE. Memorial Mass will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Grafton, NE, with Father William Holoubek officiating. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery
in Grafton, NE. No visitation, as cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Helena’s Catholic Church, 170 N. Jackson Ave., Grafton, NE 68365; or the American Heart Association, https://donatenow.heart.org/. Condolences may be left at  ww.suttonmemorial.com. Robert “Fro” was born August 8, 1958, to Howard C. and Dorothy L. (Rolfes)  Waltrip in  lhambra, CA. He received his early education at Grafton Public Schools and graduated from Sutton High School  in 1976. He furthered his education at Central Community College
in Hastings after graduation. He was a farmer, truck driver, cattle rancher and avid outdoorsman. Robert was a lifelong member of St. Helena’s Catholic Church in Grafton. He will be remembered as a loving son, stepson, nephew, cousin and dear friend. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy (Richard) Yaeger, formerly of Sutton, now Geneva, NE; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in  death by his father, Howard “Doc” Waltrip; sister, Janet, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins
