Edgar’s water has been found to have high levels of nitrate, a nitrogen-oxygen chemical unit, which combines with various organic and inorganic compounds, and is commonly used as a fertilizer. While nitrate is not harmful to adults, babies six months or younger who consume it, even if mixed in with formula or juice, may become ill or, if left untreated, may die.
