Former Grafton, NE, resident Patrick  ames Keenan, 51, passed away Tuesday,  Feb. 24, 2015, at his home in Sutton,  NE.Funeral services  were 11 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sutton, NE, with Rev. Judy Nuss officiating. Cremation followed the service. Visitation was Sunday,  from 1-8 p.m., with thefamily present from 5-7 p.m., at  Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton,NE.  Memorial contributions may bedirected to the Sutton American  Legion Argonne Post #61 or the Baroda American Legion Post #345, P.O. Box 217, Baroda, MI49101.  Condolences may be left  Patrick was born Oct. 2, 1963,in Hastings, NE, to Francis and Betty (Wright) Keenan. He received his education at Grafton  Public Schools and graduatedfrom Sutton High School in 1981.  He married Deborah Gaul ofBaroda, MI, in Las Vegas, NV, and to this union two daughters were born, Katy and Danielle. He was employed with Gaul Constructionand later was a self-employed carpenter. Pat always enjoyed coming back to his roots to help with fall harvest on the family farm. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Sutton, NE, and Baroda, MI, and was a member of the Grafton VolunteerFire Department. Pat enjoyed spending time  with his girls, especially helping with coaching their softball teamswhen they were younger. He is survived by his daughters, Katy (Keenan) Leshman and husband, Zac, of San Diego, CA; Danielle Keenan of Baroda, MI; granddaughter, Addison Leshman of San Diego, CA; mother, Betty R. Keenan of Sutton, NE; step-mother, Dolores Keenan of Blue Hill, NE; siblings, Karla (Roos) Miles of Lincoln, NE; Monty Roos of North Platte, NE; Tom Keenan and wife, Jacque, of Henderson, NE; Joe Keenan and wife, Jerri, of Grafton, NE; Genie (Keenan) Nuss and husband, Joel, of Sutton, NE; eleven nieces and nephews and eight greatnieces  and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Keenan; brother, John Keenan; paternal grandparents, John and Rose  Keenan; maternal grandparents,Albert and Hattie Wright and  uncle, Jerry Keenan.
