Members of the Sutton City Council, on Monday night, approved the Plat for the West Addition, better known as the Baseball/Softball Complex that is currently under construction, as well as a special exception use permit for Mike Ford, owner of Abat Lerew Construction. In both cases, Sutton’s Planning and Zoning Board approved the Plat and Ford’s permit, forwarding them on to the council for final approval during their monthly meeting held Monday night. The acceptance by the council of the West Addition Plat allows future construction to take place in the area just east of the new ball complex. It also makes it possible for upgrades to the waterand sewer to take place, if the Sutton Council should accept bids during a special meeting held next Monday, April 20. The meeting will be held in the council chambers at 7 p.m.
