Twila Mae Mack, 86, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the Parson’s House on Eagle Run in Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday,April 23, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in Clay Center, NE, with Rev. Del Klover officiating. Interment will follow at the Clay Center Cemetery in Clay Center, NE. Visitation was Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 1–8 p.m., at McLaughlin Funeral Home in Clay Center,  NE. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Clay Center Foundation. Condolences may be left at www.mclaughlinchapel. com  wila was born to Ralphand Ethel (Fisher) Boswell in Ong, NE, on Oct. 4, 1928. She enjoyed farm life there with three older siblings and graduated from high school in 1946.  he attended Hastings College and married Harlan Mack on June 20, 1947. They lived on a farm near Clay Center, NE, where they raised four daughters. Farm chores, gardening  nd sewing kept Twila busy until she purchased A & M Dry Goods store in 1963. She operated this business until 1988. She was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. CCs, United Methodist Women and the American Legion. After retirement, she enjoyed quilting and continued to share her baked goods with friends and family. Harlan and Twila traveled to Germany, cruised to Alaska and spent their winters inApache Junction, AZ. They enjoyed time with their daughters  and families and have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. They moved from the farm to a home in  lay Center in 2005. In 2010, Harlan preceded her in death and Twila moved to Omaha  where she was closer to her daughters. Her daughters believe Twila’s greatest achievement in life was to help themto achieve their career goals  and to set the example for “being the best that you can be.” Surviving members of her family are daughters, Deanna Johnson (Tim Laughlin);  arla Dennard; Julie (Elisha Swain); Lucinda (Richard) Perez; grandchildren, Eric (Nancy) Johnson; Amanda Ledin; Kendrick (Angela) Perez; Kayla Perez; Joshua Dennard; Lisa Dennard; Celia Dennard; Zak Swain; si x great-g andchildren; nieces, Joyce Artrup; Olivia Boswell; and nephew, Dewald Boswell. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wayne and Beuford Boswell and sister, Maurine Hill.
