The new Sutton Ball Complex, which is hoping to be completed sometime in early fall of this year, is beginning to take form. A large scale amount of dirtwork has been completed by Van Kirk Construction of Sutton, setting the base for the new four-field complex in northwest Sutton. Water and sewer work is also expected to begin soon, a bid that was also awarded to Van Kirk Construction during the April 13, Sutton Council meeting. Work began last Wednesday, April 29, by Gene Griess and his crew. Griess’ business, Masonry Specialties, Inc., in Sutton, began digging footings for what will become the new concession stand that will be located in the center of the four fields.
