Maybe You CAN Go Home Again

I set out on the six-hour drive with great expectations. I was going to see friends, catch up on their lives and share tidbits of the past 50 years. It was to be a time of homecoming and celebration. I knew the old hometown would be somewhat familiar, but perhaps a little strange since I hadn’t been there for years. Then thoughts of Thomas Wolfe’s epic, “You Can’t Go Home Again,” hit me.
