Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic progressive disease causing inflammation in the joints and results in painful deformity and immobility, especially in the fingers, wrists, feet, and ankles. I was seven when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in both of my knees. Many doctors said it could have been caused by the fact that I was born a month late, and my knees were so stuffed up into my stomach/chest that it took a while to “straighten” them out.
