Fairfield, NE—Clay County farmer Perry Elting has won the opportunity to direct a $2,500 dollar donation from the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, to Sandy Creek FFA.

Sandy Creek FFA will use the funds to grow the goat breeding project and send students to leadership development workshops.

“We are very excited about being nominated to receive these funds. We have been looking for ways to grow our goat project, as well as be able to send students to more expensive leadership development training,” said Amy Tomlinson, Sandy Creek FFA, Agriculture Education Teacher. “Receiving these funds will help us support students in our community.”
