County Board hears monthly reports

During the last May meeting for the County Board of Supervisors, Loren Uden, Emergency Management Coordinator, said he will be discussing with departments redistricting the fire districts.

He said they will discuss how to square off each area so that departments don’t lose land, but make it easier for dispatchers to determine which department should respond to a call.

Following a severe storm, one of the Clay County Courthouse trees broke and fell over. Custodian Mike Carroll said there was now damage to the yard as a result from the fallen tree, and that the tree stump would need to be removed.
